I was just thinking that. The camera needed to be aimed slightly higher.

Yeah, the camera angle could have been a little higher, I had the same feeling.  Excellent video though.

I think his helmet tilted downward because some parts were at the correct angle but most wasn't.

No. What was posted earlier was the 2010 race.

Yea, I watched after I posted and noted the lack of black dog hazard midway through. The canine hazard in this race wasn't nearly as bad.

The ones that freak me out are the spots where he squeezes between a wall and a near by pole/street sign.

Something about handlebar whackers always scared the shit out of me.   I could never do that down hill crap.  Mostly because I remember the outright stupidity of being a 13-14 year old kid doing 50+mph on a mountain bike a downhill surface street with other cars on it.(Lincoln Dr in Ventura California)  No helmet, no safety gear, and a 52 tooth chain ring pedaling for all I could give it.   Damned chain ring was too much for me to be able to pedal on flat ground but man it worked for down hill.

Now that my kind of riding!

<––––––See screen name.  Since I moved to South Florida, urban riding is about as good as it gets, but I can't really build any good speed since it's flat as hell.  I've found some great stairs, drops, and such though, and retaining walls are always good for a ride
