I put together a Anderson lower with a PSA upper on a pistol build. It has a bit of play between the upper and lower. Rattles a bit and is just annoying.

What are you guys using to solve this? Accuwedge or O-rings ?

Most people don't care.

Anyhow, orings a better choice than an accuwedge.

O-ring is pennies, and a quick fix.

Don't worry about it, it doesn't affect anything.

I've done the oring thing for awhile. They wear out after coming apart a few times, got sick of replacing them. It doesn't bother me anymore

I got an accuwedge in one of my ARs that has some slop..Cleans it up and stops the rattle. Doesnt do shit but cure my OCD.

its cheap and they last a LONG time.

Super glue!

Actually if your going to go cheap, might as well use Aero lowers they have that screwy thing on them.

The o-rings break too easily. Get an accuwedge, trim it once and be done.

Some guys don't like the idea of a rubber piece that could possibly  get loose and cause malfunctions.

Hardware stores sell precision ground shoulder bolts that can replace the front push pin.  As there is usually only a couple thousandths of slop to take out, tightening the shoulder bolt where the front push pin goes removes all the movement between any upper and lower where I have installed them.  You can always return the factory push pin when you want.

With all that being said, I have read a couple of articles that tested whether play between upper and lower had much impact on accuracy, and all the articles said accuracy was not adversely affected.  I still prefer no slop though.

Be happy you've got some play.
One of mine ARs is so tight I need a tool to get the rear pin pushed out.

I had never held an AR til I joined the Army... when we first got issued rifles I was like WTF with the upper receiver play.
After hitting 300 meter targets without effort, I pretty much knew it was a non issue.
