Just saw the trailer, and of the 3 plotlines, one had Donald Sutherland as a gunshop owner.  I was hoping he would portray the correct side of the issue, but it is set in Kalifornia, so I'm dubious.  Thoughts?

What are the chances that the storylines are as follows:

Single Mother - Uses a gun to protect herself and children from a home invasion.
High School Principal - Uses his CCW to protect himself when attacked by local gang members he expelled from school
Ace Students - Attributes his grades to the discipline and patence he learned from competition rifle shooting.

This is like asking if Richard Simmons is or isn't a flaming homosexual.

Plus, his best roles have always been ones where his character is a bit "titched" in the head - see Ronald in "Backdraft."

He'll play a nutjob again, and as said, probably with a touch (or more) or white supremacist. You can count of Sutherland NOT portraying gunshop owners as they really are, but as Hollywierd sees them.

Simplistic soap opera crap that would have been handled better in an ABC afterschool special. Oh, and it's the gun's fault. It's always the gun's fault. And any white heterosexual males who speak in rural accents. Their fault, too.
