I'm getting married pretty soon....I need some good ideas for gifts for my best man and groomsmen. I don't want to just get them a cheap glass or a flask with their initials engraved in it like everyone else gives their groomsmen. I want something unique and different, but not super expensive. These guys are all outdoor guys....into shooting, hunting, fishing......
Any good ideas? |

Pick a benchmade, get them laser marked.
Lots of options to choose from and they'll see some use from your groomsmen. |

Buy the tuxes, and a gift card to an outdoors store. They're guys, no need for Sentimental crap......

Best one I have gotten was a friend had a silversmith make us money clips. Carried mine everyday for near 10 years now.

budget? I have 5 groomsmen, and two buddies who are going to be ushers that I'd also like to get something for. If possible, I like to keep the gifts to $40 or under.... |

Flashlights, knives and duffel bags are things that will last a long time, and get tons of use. You could get a bunch of Spyderco Tenacious ($30) knives and have them engraved, Fenix or 4Sevens lights, or Cabelas bags. All would make awesome gifts. |

I got a mug with my name on it. It's a pencil holder now on my desk.

I bought mine all stripped lowers.... a bit more than $40 tho.. I think they liked them.

The last wedding I was in the groom gave us all crystal decanters.
I really like mine. |

I did knives for each, 13ish years ago. I still carry mine in rotation and went partying with a couple of them a while back and they were using them as money clips, said they always had them in their pockets.
these are what I gave to them, had them engraved: crkt |

I did black Swiss Army knives with their initials on the main blade.
That was 20+ years ago, but well received. ( I think ) |

How about fleshlights with the silhouette of Beetlejuice laser etched onto the tube? That's pretty fucking unique.

Sounds dumb and I did not appreciate it for about 5 years, but a couch (wife had to explain that it was fancy) men's travel toiletry thing. I don't even know what it's called but when I travel I put a bunch of crap in it. Useful as hell
Also got a bench made griptillian at one but it got stoked / lost My gifts were so crappy I don't even remember what I gave out. |

We all got really nice Kershaw knives at the last one I was in. They even matched the color scheme.

I got my friends/family tobacco pipes and all of the accessories (I was going to go knives but some wouldn't have appreciated it)

I once received a Swiss Army knife as a groomsman, before the ChiComs started making most of them. Very cool, still have it,use it, and treasure it.

It even says "Great groomsman gift" http://www.pocketcannons.com/ Or gas cards. everybody with a vehicle loves a gas card and will actually use it. |

All of my groomsmen liked to grill and cook steaks, so I got them all a branding iron made with their initials on them. I only know of one who I honestly don't know if he's used it or not. The rest use it at BBQs and stuff the host.
