The NG in NYC is unarmed, standing around in their BDUs with radios and their thumbs up their arses. This is why we still have the possibility of losing the whole damned shooting match with radical Islam.

As long as we continue to have these G*D damned feminist politicians feminizing our society, and I mean Feminist MEN, we don't stand a F*cking chance in hell.

Give our boys their M16s!!!!!

It is just another example of how we bark, but don't bite. They cry for protection and for the Government to do somehting.

But if it means having to soldiers with weapons in public and it makes them uncomfortable then they should go unarmed. It's too hard to drink a latte when a soldier is near by with a wepaon of mass destruction. His magical aura mught wear of and the evil assault wepoan will go on a shooting spree.

Nope. Too Dangerous!

Fox said the Mayor requested that they be unarmed. Seems kind of useless. In fact, some British guy they interviewed said they should change their name from National Guard to something else because they sure as hell can't guard anything if they are unarmed. Gotta love those Brits.

Uh, why would you wear BDUs in the largest target on earth and NOT have a rifle? That's like carrying a blinking neon sign that says "SHOOT ME".

Another reason why I will never live or work in NYC. I feel sorry for the 15% or so of people there that are good decent folks.

I noticed last night watching the news that all the NG lardasses at San Francisco International Airport had M-16s over their shoulders- but no mags in them.

I had a good laugh at that.

Oh, I mean, thank God they are there to protect me!

Who the hell believes this stuff anyway?

They obviously learned nothing from the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut. The gate guard was still trying to get his magazine seated when the truck bomber flew past.

On the other hand, the TX NG troops at DFW airport have full magazines inserted. The chambers are empty, but I'd rather have to slingshot a round than dig into my mag pouch.

Guiliani is an idiot and this just underscores it. He has gotten too much free publicity from this attack. He is like Gray Davis just a bunch of lip service. Maybe if he'd get some cojones he'd stand up to the democrats in NY. But, oh yeah that only counts for strippers and porno shops.

I haven't been to LAX, but according to the L.A. Times, those NG folks have 2 loaded mags stored in the ammo pouch per FAA request. If something really bad happen, after fishing for a mag in a mag pouch and inserting it into M16, the show will probably all be over.

The NG needs to be dressed in bunny costumes with some pink lace covering their rifles. Then they wouldn't be as scary. Also, it would be easy to figure out who's up to no good - it's the people who aren't pointing and laughing.
