1. "Program established by volunteers..." Uh huh..... "volunteers"... More likely a poorly disguised front for foreign agencies to train fighters. $45k a month doesn't come out of nowhere. Did they say if these guys were Army regulars or are they partisans?
2. I like that they reload the rounds for their sniper school using a single stage press. Many of the guys here have one in their garage. The 2nd Amendment is a beautiful thing... 3. Does anyone know what type of rifle they use, or what it is based on? Looks like an AR10 type of platform, but the buffer tube is very short. |

I saw this a while back. 45k a month seems way cheap. That sounds about right per person maybe. lol Either way, interesting video.
Also, I believe all the weapons you see being used are being made there in country. |

I seriously doubt they are making AR's from scratch there. The part the guy put in the tumbler looked like an upper receiver blank (not forged) though.

View Quote If it was a front for training run by foreign agencies, the guy would never be on camera willingly, and you wouldn't ever hear about it until a decade or two later. $45k/month is almost negligible, especially when you factor rations, medical, shelter, gas, etc. |

I'm going to take this as official Ukrainian support of Redding reloading equipment. Glad I bought green. Now I can be like greatest trash can sniper.

Did they say if these guys were Army regulars or are they partisans? No these guys are 99% local volunteers with a few European/Georgian/Chechian's that have blood fueds against Russia. 2. Reloading rifle and pistol is illegal there for now, I hear they are going to change a lot of the firearm laws. Actually there gun laws are not bad and volunteers more or less are immune from prosecution even when they have captured heavy weapons 3. View Quote Zbroyar is a local manufacturer that produces great rifles on par with a lot of US guns (use krieger and lothar blanks). They also produce B&T APR and galil clones in ukraine. SVD is standard marksman rifle for army but civi guns are used a lot in the war. Internal troops are getting IMI licensed galils and tavors |

Where did they get a NF scope? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I saw a few Leupold MK IVs but nothing NF? Did I miss it? For sure Leupold MK IV on the MDT/ Rem 700. Nighforce, S&B, Khales, Meopta, Valdada, Zeiss are all readily available there. Oh yeah the army and volunteers make about 300-500$ a month. They haven't been paid in 6 months. They aren't doing this for money. In contrast the Russian soldiers/mercenaries get 4-5K a month minimum. Some of the captured Russian paramilitaries from Chechnya had 50K on them, heroin, gold, and designer amphetamines laced with demerol and lithium. They call it the zombie cocktail. Watch some of the videos online of the separatists and look at their pupils and skin. They drug those guys up before throwing them into the grinder. Ive got a lot or respect for the ukrop's and what they have accomplished flat broke, with a command chain that was rife with Russia agents, and almost no international support. Building drones and AR's from scratch in their mothers basements. I know quiet a few guys fighting over there and one that was killed. The Chechan vostok guys cut his ears off, his dick off, and shoved it in his throat. I hope they kill every last one of those invading bastards. |

Glad to see they have some decent equipment, regardless of how they got it.

Saw a guy assemble the upper and lower of an AR platform together while simultaneously pushing the buffer and spring into the tube with the rear of the bolt carrier. Maybe they're making their own AR lowers and skipped the buffer retaining detent or maybe the guy just has an unusual way of assembling them. |

I also like the sand cutter ar10 bolt in the vid. Zbroyar makes really nice rifles that are actually reasonably priced. I think that one rifle might be a steyr action. I saw a lot of Steyr, Sako, and remington bolt rifles over there. The gun stores sell just about every firearm under the sun, mostly high end military stuff like SAN, IMI, PGN, B&T, Sig and custom hunting rifles from europe like blasers and sauers but they don't have any real import restrictions or firearm limits for those with cards. Most ammo is pricey though.
|
|
I hope they send as many of Putin's boys home in bags, as fast as they can manufacture the ammo.
Anybody get an ID on the ammo they were making? Was it 7,62 X 51 ? |
