- The national debt jumped by $72 billion on Tuesday even as the Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives passed a continuing resolution to fund the government for just three weeks that will cut $6 billion from government spending.

If Congress were to cut $6 billion every three weeks for the next 36 weeks, it would manage to save between now and late November as much money as the Treasury added to the nation’s net debt during just the business hours of Tuesday, March 15.

Sounds like this gal I knew, she would make the minimum payments on her credit cards then immediately turn around and charge 3 times as much as she just paid. She maxed out every card she had and is now in debt over $40,000.00 and is getting her wages garnished. LoL what a bonehead.

Won't end until it all crashes down. Prepare.

This is about where I'm at.

I remember fondly the wailing and gnashing of teefs, before the mid term elections... and the lamentations that the Republicans will fix this once they get back into office.

So far it's shaping up to be exactly what I figured it would be.
