It's an interesting story. When he was given the medal last week, there was (and still is) some confusion in the Danish press as to exactly what it was for, because the military isn't specifically saying
 . Plus. It's very unusual for the Danish military to give medals to foreigners, so that made it an interesting story as well.

He probably said something politically incorrect about Muslims one time, or donated to an anti-gay-marriage group.
