Just visit a Holocaust museum where one can see piles of wedding bands, glasses, shoes, teeth with gold fillings.

Don't knock "Modern Art".
Your AR-15, and most "modern" weapons owe a debt to Modernism. "Form follows function" =Modernism The AR looks beautiful because it works beautifully because it was designed beautifully. It was NOT designed, however, with beauty in mind. Function. How'd you like it if your weapon had all sorts of curly-Qs and scroll work all over it. Yuck. |
