I don't know if this is old news to you guys or not, but I just got a letter in the mail from the NRA (I am a member) and it explained how the anti-gunners around the world are working on a U.N. Treaty that will most likely be signed by Kerry if elected, banning ALL guns in the U.S.

Its estimated for July of 2006, but hell I am scared if this is even 1/4 true.

Did you all know about this????

They also mention how congress has made a gag law and the NRA can't talk about this on TV or radio.

Yep.

They're not going to explicity ban guns but there will be language to encourage member states to control civilian possession of all firearms.

Ah..... eitherway, the thought of something ever happening like what went on in Aussie makes me want to puke.

I don't know what I'd do, I would prolly have to leave the country, and go where? I don't know.

If this is a UN treaty, it will need 2/3 of the US Senate approval, and it has the effect of a Constitutional amendent.
