Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - UV MAX ultraviolet replacement lamps

I need to dip into GD's knowledge regarding UV lamps. There seems to be at least few different makers of replacement lamps with a wide range of prices. Viqua(used to be Trojan), Technical Precision and LSE. Is there a difference in quality? They all have an ~1 year hour life. Why such a wide range of prices? $38 for a two-pack vs $90 for a single lamp, as an example.
