The company said in a statement that its plant in the Arab Gulf island-nation will produce brands such as Oreo, Ritz and TUC in the initial phase, which will create 300 jobs. Full commercial production is scheduled to start early next year.

Oreo is an international brand and Mondelez (Kraft) is a multinational company.




It's not like these will be exported to the U.S. and in our supermarkets.

I've seen Oreos and other American goods on the shelves of foreign stores.  I love visiting local store and supermarkets when I travel.
