While there is likley a current invasion plan as well, I wonder what the pretext would be for such an invasion?
While invasion would be an easy task, occupation of a country this size would not. So I assume there would need to be a specific limited objective for this type of operation. Does anyone have any scenarios which would result in this type of action? |

Why invade Canada,that would be like kissing your own sister!The ONLY reason I can think of that we would "invade" Canada,would be in the case of a world wide catastrophe where Canada had already been overrun.

Most of these invasion plans are highly unlikely events and most were developed by students undergoing training at the War College. I do remember an interesting event back in the mid to late 80's when Quebec almost suceeded from the Canadian Union and there was speculation on what would happen to the rest of Canada. I think the consensus was that the eastern provinces would try to form a new country and that the western provinces might consider petitioning the U.S to become states. Pretty interesting scenarios when one ponders the distinct cultural outlook of the people living in those areas.

This was dated 1935. Even the UK had contingency plans for war with the US at this time. Given that with in 5 years Hitler would have the UK`s back to the wall,this was simply being prudent. I`ve read naval histories that covered this generally,and considered another US-UK war to be unthinkable from both sides. Also at this time the US Naval War College was updating War Plan Orange for transpacific conflict with Japan. War Plan Orange was actually used by Admiral Nimitz from 11/43 onward in a modified form. Military planners often consider the unlikely or unthinkable. |

I fully support the invasion of Canada, the wholesale slaughter of the majority of the citizenry, and the liberation of the good men and women who are stuck in that shit stinking quasi-socialist god forsaken frozen hell-hole of a British Nation.
Canada is very, very, very sad. Some of the best times in my life were spend in Lake of the Woods up north of the Minnesota Border. I know a Canadian dude who is stuck there- waiting for his hardware to be banned by those faggots. It's the most beautiful place on earth, if you are inclined to such "forrested" places (I am speaking of Lake of the Woods, the majority of which unfortunatley resides in Canada) I hope we invade Canada. I've always thought it might be a good idea to combine Canada and the US into one country. Then split that country N to S roughly along the Mississippi or thereabouts. Move the liberals to the eastern part, and the Conservatives to the western part. The liberals won't need as much land cause they'll have their welfare programs and such to sustain themselves. Think of all the hunting and fishing. Woohoo!

We've already taken the first step. Bill "The Bubba" Klinton started the "Pre-Invasion" plans years ago by talking the "Canadian Government" into making everyone register their firearms.
The plan is to "Bankrupt" Canada by having them spend three times their GNP in attempting to get all Canadian Citizens to register "all" of their weapons. We will attack after Canada is broke. All Canadian's will then be forced to speak only "English". Also, all "Thermold" magazines will be outlawed. |

Only 1 in 4 Canadians voted for the antigun Liberals - and those 25% of eligible Canadian voters were very disproportionately located in major metropolitan areas. A near-consensus of residents in 90% of the country's area didn't vote for our government. The rest can't shoot, and even if they could, our military doesn't have enough boots to equip them. Not a pretty picture as far as national unity or military readiness goes. I welcome a counter argument from anyone who voted Liberal. Anyone... hello? |

We must sieze the critical ski runs of Banff!
This is what general staff does during peacetime. They update invasion and defense plans for major and minor conflicts, even seemingly outlandish ones, both as an intellectual exercise and in case the outlandish happens. In that case all you need to do is grab the plans from the shelf, dust them off and update then, and go to war. Much better than playing grab-ass for a few months trying to figure out what to do, or, worse, do the wrong thing because you hadn't thought about it. |

Anybody see that Cinemax Comedy Experiment called the Canadian Conspiracy? It was a mock documentary all about how the Canadians were going to take over the US through the media. Had Eugene Levey in a hot hotel room telling the story and included every major Canadian star in the show. Lorne Green was the Godfather of the operation. It was absolutely hilarious.

There are only a limited number of countries in the world. Hell we probably have invasion scenaris for every last one of them. We also probably have more complex scenarios such as fighting Communism in East Europe (Cold War), Liberating Isreal if it were to be taken over, fighting most of the Muslim World, Invading Central and South America to Finally Win The Drug War, etc...
Oh wait those are my invasion plans. I've written up my own maps and plans for war against both Canada and Mexico at one time. Hell we may need 'em some day. I figure we go in to Canada at the border and from the NE at Greenland and kick some Frog ass in Quebec. Most the rest of Canada is with us already and they would't mind kicking Quebec's ass with us. |
