This is an opening statement from Senator Joe Biden during the Roberts confirmation yesterday.
prisonplanet.com/audio/120905chip.mp3 He isn't advocating implanatable microchips, rather he is merely stating that the court will decide the issue within the next 10 years. Which means that the government will mandate them (at least for some citizens) before then. Maybe those of us that have been predicting this for years are such "kooks" anymore. |

It will be for your own convienance, and there will be federal laws saying that the data about you cannot be collected by govt agencies.
Therefore, no federal agencies will collect data on you. |
Even if BP offers you a five cent a gallon discount for having one? |
Biden is an idiot, without any influence at all. The media does love him, and tries to shove his bullshit down our throats.
What you are missing from that link is that he sayed, "Forced implantation"...
He may be a kook, but if you think that this won't be attempted--you are asleep concerning this area... |

... Ten years!
... Ha, I wear an RFID tag all day long at work. The technology has been around for quite some time now. It's the Mark of the Beast www.digitalangelcorp.com/default.asp |
take a little time to listen to comments made concerning this area--from all sources.
Hannity is quoted as saying every child in America should be chipped, I'm investing in this Rooney says that we should get chipped to prove that we are good citizens A former cabinet member is going around the country getting people on the bandwagon This is not a Conservative/lib issue--it's about privacy, 1984 think about it |
It's not RFID in an of itself that most are worried about. It's implanting the RFID tag into your body that most people don't like. And for those who think this will never be a reality, our former HHS director Tommy Thompson is now on the board of directors at Verichip/Digital Angel... |

this just in: "modog predicts dying in a blaze of enemy gunfire in the next decade, but not before taking a hundred or so with him"
that shit aint NEVER gonna happen!!!
Too mnay people will br flippin' out calling it the mark of the beast or some shit! |
Sorry, but anything coming from "prisonplanet.com" or any of its sister websites holds exactly zero credibility. Alex Jones is a nutbag, and FAR worse than Joe Biden. |

ALIENS, MAN! I SWEAR! BIG BUG-EYED BAKED POTATOES WITH LASER GUNS!!!!! |

+1 In this case, I wholeheartedly agree with Christian paranoia (just for different reasons). |
First off you underestimate the stupidity of the sheeple! Most already have their dogs and cats chiped, so why not their children? Second with this sort of thing, I can just picture it being mandatory to have all newborns chiped. 3rd off if this truely is the mark of the beast, then there is nothing we can do to stop it, for it is written. |
Just stick your right hand or forehead in the microwave. That will disable the chip very quickly. |
i don't want to even get started on this, but.... siffice it to say, (through every factor currently awash in our society) the government doesn't even have to make up good lies to fool us into doing things anymore. all they have to do is say, "...here is a chip we can track people with." 40% of the population will immediately say, "...lets do it to show we are good citizens." and 90% of the remainder will say, "...it makes things more convenient." all of the newborns will be chipped to fend off, "kidnappers, perverts, and other undesirables", or because of some government penalty because if you didn't chip your kids, clearly you don't care about them and are therefore subject to fines. therefore, people like me are easy targets. i immediately become some "survivalist lunatic" based on the numbers alone. hell, parts of europe already have this shit because it's soooooooo trendy. |
the definition of the word that we translate as "mark" in English ( from the N.T. Biblical Greek ) specifically refers to an etching or engraving...........
interesting that depending on the version or translation you read ( and the MSS on which it is based ) "on the right hand or on the forehead" can be also just as easily translated as "in the right hand or on the forhead" or, I assume ( depending on context ) "in the right hand or in the forehead" your choice.... |
won't your body's immune system reject such an implant? unless you take regular doses of some immune suspressant.
I'd call for Biden to get a BRAIN IMPLANT, but I doubt he would USE IT!
No, it's already been approved by the FDA and there are already some bars in europe giving the implants to patrons so that they can pay without having to carry a wallet. In fact, many of Mexico's government officials have already been required to have the VeriChip implant. |
This is going to seem like a good idea to the sheeple right until the time when, after the gulf war of 2021, ever American POW comes home missing his right hand.
this will ALWAYS seem like a good idea to those who currently think it's a good idea. some missing hands will do nothing to convince them otherwise |
Exacto knife and tweezers should take care of that. The scar will buff right out. |
Maybe I need to start wearing a tin-foil hat. But people this will happen maybe not soon but it will happen. Let it be known that if you take one all your libertys will be gone forever! Fight it! |
You sure? It's called your cell phone |
Since when did people implant cell phones into their bodies? |
Remmeber reading in pop sci they had a working implantable phone...it replaced a molar.
Damn near everyone I see has one implanted in their ear... |

Implementation and purpose of the mark of the beast:
16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. - Revelation 13:16-17 NASB Result of taking the mark of the beast: 9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:9-11 NASB It's interesting that a man banished to a deserted prison-island during first century A.D. was able to predict something that so closely resembles a modern technology and accurately describes its potential use. |

Poppycock. Implantable chips have been commercially available for over 10 years and there hasn't been the slightest suggestion that they should be put in people. Anyone predicting such action should cite research and documented fact that would make such claims credible. All such suggestions I have seen to date have been alarmists crying "Wolf!".
Nothing to see here. CWO |

He cheated in law school, I didn't. There's a not very good moral to that story somewhere... |

Biden along with 99 other Saenators and overwhelming margins in the H.O.R. voted through the national I.D. act earlier this session. National ID cards on the way? Published: February 14, 2005, 4:00 AM PST By Declan McCullagh Staff Writer, CNET News.com TrackBack Print E-mail TalkBack A recent vote in Congress endorsing standardized, electronically readable driver's licenses has raised fears about whether the proposal would usher in what amounts to a national ID card. In a vote that largely divided along party lines, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a Republican-backed measure that would compel states to design their driver's licenses by 2008 to comply with federal antiterrorist standards. Federal employees would reject licenses or identity cards that don't comply, which could curb Americans' access to everything from airplanes to national parks and some courthouses. The congressional maneuvering takes place as governments are growing more interested in implanting technology in ID cards to make them smarter and more secure. The U.S. State Department soon will begin issuing passports with radio frequency identification, or RFID, chips embedded in them, and Virginia may become the first state to glue RFID tags into all its driver's licenses. News.context What's new: A recent vote in Congress endorsing standardized, electronically readable driver's licenses has raised fears about whether the proposal would usher in what amounts to a national ID card. Bottom line: Proponents of the Real ID Act say it's needed to frustrate both terrorists and illegal immigrants. Critics say it imposes more requirements for identity documents on states, and gives the Department of Homeland Security carte blanche to do nearly anything else "to protect the national security interests of the United States." More stories on privacy and national security "Supporters claim it is not a national ID because it is voluntary," Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, one of the eight Republicans to object to the measure, said during the floor debate this week. "However, any state that opts out will automatically make nonpersons out of its citizens. They will not be able to fly or to take a train." Paul warned that the legislation, called the Real ID Act, gives unfettered authority to the Department of Homeland Security to design state ID cards and driver's licenses. Among the possibilities: biometric information such as retinal scans, fingerprints, DNA data and RFID tracking technology. Proponents of the Real ID Act say it adheres to the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission and is needed to frustrate both terrorists and illegal immigrants. Only a portion of the legislation regulates ID cards; the rest deals with immigration law and asylum requests. "American citizens have the right to know who is in their country, that people are who they say they are, and that the name on the driver's license is the real holder's name, not some alias," F. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wisc., said last week. "If these commonsense reforms had been in place in 2001, they would have hindered the efforts of the 9/11 terrorists, and they will go a long Continued ... |

I hope you are being sarcastic. But just in case you're not... Mexican government officials have already implanted the Verichip into their bodies. Europeans at bars in europe are already implanting Verichips into their bodies. The USFDA approved the Verichip to be implanted in humans last year. Senator Frist and Clinton are co-authoring a health bill that supposedly will pave the way for making implantable chips a part of our health care system (not to mention this sounds like it will be a socialist health care system --> see S.1262) ETA: Oh yeah, I forgot one more. Our former HHS Director Tommy Thompson, who is now on the board of directors at Digital Angel/Verichip (which I mentioned earlier) got implanted with a Verichip. I'm sure there are many others, but I just wanted to mention the big ones. Just pointing out the facts. Make your own conclusions... |

Their are other less inflamed rational sources. Look into it, truly disturbing. Some products you buy already have these so do a lot of blue state drivers licenses. Advertisers and sellers as well as your government can track almost everything you do with these. It has advantages in the civilian sector like biometric security which is very cheap and nearly impossible to crack, like say being able to do use a fingerprint or eyescan instead of an ATM/credit card. But aty the same time if you say have a bench warrant on parking tickets and one day go to buy groceries complete your transaction and their is a cop waiting for you at the exit to take you into custody. Not to mention the info that can be made available between agencies, one scan and they know everything S.S.#, income, weapons you own, what is in your checking account, convictions or criminal history, you are a CCW holder, your travel and buying habits, they know everything with one cursory scan. Can you say invasion of privacy. Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. |
