Re:    URGENT Ammo & Firearms Special Intelligence Report
Date:  1/2/2003

Dear Hitach Newsletter Members,

All Purpose Ammo, Professional Ordinance, William Sights
and others have all gone out of business or filed for bankruptcy.
There are more on their way in the not too distant future.

Most of these failures have been as a result of governmental
involvement and new laws. We have released information to
our members long before almost every change or ban in this
business. We are beyond question the most consumer oriented
company in our industry.

We care about you!  We MUST know what is going to
happen to stay in business.

Our intelligence reports are not restricted to paying customers,
nor do we require a purchase to get this information. It is all
a part of being a member of Hitach's Member Newsletter,
which is a free service to you.

In 1989, we warned of the AK-47 and SKS ban. Those
who acted on our intelligence reports made a "killing". The
SKS paratroop rifle you could buy for $48 fully fitted is
now at over $400 retail. The AK-47, NEW IN BOX (NIB),
is now over $1200 - up from $129.

Even a MAC90 with a machined receiver is now over
$600 new in box, up from $149. That is, if you can
find them. We do, from time to time.

We forecasted the importation ban on the Maddi Model-94
with a 21" Steyr stainless steel barrel (AK variant). This is
used as a Squad Assault Weapon or Sniper Rifle.

We also warned about the year 2000 importation ban
and confiscation of ALL high capacity assault type rifles
at the dock and with the wholesalers.

We warned about 7.62x39mm TULA Cartridge Works
ammo (head stamped TCW) being banned. TCW is
Russia's premier defense arsenal.

According to our forecast it was to be reclassified
as hunting ammunition under another trademark. This
is the origin of Wolf Ammunition. Do you know where
your Wolf Ammo comes from?

We do. It is identical to pre-ban Tula ammunition and
is manufactured to near match specs for us at Tula
Cartridge Works in Wolf cases!

We also warned about the ban on tracer and armor
piercing ammo, along with 12 gauge specialty ammo.

THE NEW (OLD) PROBLEM

THE TIME HAS COME TO BUY NOW - NO HYPE - FACTS!

Most people are under the misconception that it takes
an act of Congress to change gun law - it does in most
cases. But, the constitution does not say anything about
what rights you have to decide what you can put in your
firearm!

The fact is that the U.S Treasury Department has
ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY to make firearms configuration
and ammo related law.

This is enforced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms (BATF).

FIREARMS

We know that most of our customers are recreational
firearms buffs and own an average of about 4 firearms.
Our average member's order is about 500 rounds of ammo
and about 1 out of 40 will broker or transfer at least 1 firearm
with us.

If you want to own the firearm of your choice, you need
to commit TODAY because tomorrow may be too late.

The large capacity magazine firearms were all banned
for shipment into the United States in the year 2000.

Therefore, there is only a small quantity of high capacity
magazine type rifles. The new law says 10 rounds is the
maximum that can be loaded. Most of the rifles on the
ban list will accept up to 100 round magazines or more.

Since the supply is low and the demand is high, prices
are going up on a daily basis. If you want to own one
of these rare rifles, you need to locate a transfer agent.

Most pawn shops will transfer firearms for about $20
plus any state or local costs. All you need to do is get
them to send us a current copy of their FFL license to
have in our files. Once there, we can transfer as many
firearms as you want to buy with only a simple phone call.

This may seem to be hard, but actually takes less than
10 minutes to set up. Once done, it takes no longer to
transfer a firearm than is required to buy one, including
FBI purchase authorization.

We are going to have access to a limited number of
highly desirable semi automatics and collectors items
for our MEMBERS ONLY.

We are seeking the highest quality at the lowest possible
cost. Some items will be "one of a kind" from private
collections.

This is going to be a massive search and we will buy
everything that WE KNOW will increase in value. If you
have something you have dreamed of owning, please let
us know while we are conducting our search. NEW IN
BOX is going to be a thing of the past.

The sale will start on January 15th.
Call NOW to reserve your order.

AMMO

If you are an investor or want to cache your ammo,
you should be thinking in terms of cases or even pallets
of up to 20 cases.

New SS109 (M855). 223 Titanium Tip (Green Tip) is
the last armor piercing ammo that can be legally imported.

We predict that the Treasury Department will ban the
importation and sale of this round in the near future.
For private citizens, the only NATO source for new SS109
is IMI and Sellier & Bellot.

Israel is shipping very little due to the tensions in the
Middle East, and we have reports of Sellier & Bellot
causing problems in some AR type rifles.

We would like to commit to buying the entire next
consignment of IMI. Cost of IMI is expected to be
between $300 and $500 per case.

The cost of Sellier & Bellot is expected to be between
$250 and $350 per case.

We can drop ship pallets of 20 cases directly.

.223 55-grain hollow point deserves mention here.
It is not as at risk and is almost as lethal as SS109.
There is good supply and it should be used for recreation
so you can conserve your SS109. It is less costly and
is almost match grade. (We have shot 1/2" groups at
100 yards using an M16-A2)

Also on the "soon to go" list is much of the 12 gauge
shotgun specialty loads. We recently received notice that
All Purpose Ammo has gone out of business due to
governmental intervention. They were the largest source
of ammunition of this type.

The re-labeling of Wolf Ammo hasn't fooled anyone at
the Treasury Department. It is designed with but one
purpose - and you know what that is. It gave Russia a
couple years of cash flow, but is now on the endangered
species list.

WE GUARANTEE OUR AMMO IS FROM THE TCW
PLANT (not head stamped) and will cache for 25 years.

I would like to thank our Hitach Newsletter Members for
your continued support and business. Visit our web site,
or give us a call and let us know what we can do for you.

Warm Regards,

Timothy Hathaway

Zaphod, I have only used the 7.62R wolf ammo out of my M44, so that is all I could speak to, and that is good ammo.

gaspain
, no you should not buy any ammo.[:D] It could endanger the children.

That's an interesting list of predictions come true.
Of course, one must ask: "What about the predictions that didn't come true?".

Wonder what their track record would look like if we could see ALL their predictions, not just those that were right.

I hope that there are outright bans on sale and possession of ss109 and m855. It is obvious that many here were the same ones that didn't give a shit when the warnings of 9/94 came around and won't care when the next ban comes either. You people should find another HOBBY.

The 2000 year bannings they mention are false as well are they not?  Still getting SARs and such brought in, I think that was just a viscious rumor (sure hope so anyway...)
