As reported in April by USSA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) announced that they have officially obtained drones to stalk hunters in the field.

“PETA Air Angel’s” as they are referring to them, were reported today by PETA to have been taken on a test flight in Massachusetts and “went off without a hitch.”

A handle portable, high amplitude, microwave emitter should take care of those little fuckers.

Press button.

*cooks electronics*

ZAP

*thud*

Cue hippy tears.

Is anyone else wondering how the fuck they obtained a drone?

So...what round for the "Air Angels"?

I have belt feds in .308 and .22lr.

This is retarded. What exactly is their goal? Most hunting, especially in MA, is done in the bush. You're not getting near the hunter through the trees.

The article says PETA is selling them in their catalog.

I didn't even know PETA had a catalog.

This will end badly. For them. That quad is still a toy..."stream pictures to your phone" for one thing. That is going to be such a low quality image, it'll be worthless. Then you still have to be line of sight of it to see what it's doing, it's not one of those fancy programmable-with-gps-coords quads that can be used for mapping and stuff. It's going to be next to useless for their stated causes. In fact, in states with such laws, may become liable for interfering with hunting, not to mention possible trespassing on private lands.

Fair game, IMHO.

10 gauge goose load. Steal only, no lead it's for the environment.

Seems like something I would buy to use hunting. Increase the area you can survey.

They bought them? All it takes is cash. You know, money?

You want to pop biscuits? Google "personal drone".

One thought.

Hunter with own drone or RC helicopter or plane.

Dog Fight.
Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:55:10 PM EST
I would love to blow one out of the sky - what these douchebags don't realize is their little drone may wind their ass in the crossbar hotel. In many states this would be considered hunter harrasment and carries fines and jail time. I would not hesitate to blast away.
Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:55:38 PM EST
Meh, fly one over the dove field and a round of #5 long range ought to make short work of it. There are no trespassing signs all around the whole acreage.

I have a 20 round drum for my Saiga 12. If the drone comes close...

Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:55:58 PM EST
If they want to use a "drone" they should shell out 10-15k for one of the ones designed for aerial photography w/head tracking etc... those little rinky dink ones aren't worth a whole lot outside of functioning as toys.

Isn't harassing hunters illegal? I know it is here in Florida.
Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:57:02 PM EST
So? Then what? They cry their sissy little eyes out when the see the kill?

Hunt well, my Arfcom hunters! Crush their fragile little souls by generating FANTASTIC kill-cam footage.
Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:57:41 PM EST
it costs about $325 on their website. Does anyone know if it is illegal to use one to scout for game from the air?

Link Posted: 10/25/2013 3:58:44 PM EST
I would probably shoot that thing.

"No reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place."

Unless they're dive bombing hunters or game it won't be ruled harassment.

Fly it over my property during deer season and see what happens.

Apparently Peta hasn't learned: don't fuck with people who have guns.

Might want to dust off the old double barrel 8 gauge just to be safe.
