ANy predictions on this weekends HeavyWeight championship fight?
Who will win & how? Brock or Cain?? |
|
Cain will be beaten about the head and neck and shoulder area by Brock.
|
|
I'm not sure what Cain will be wearing when he goes to the arena but I'm pretty sure he'll be wearing a custom made ass-whoopin home.
|
|
I hate both of them fir different reasons. I couldn't even bring my self to choose one in your poll.
|
|
Brock will stand up with him and box a bit. He will try to get in a few good strikes before trying takedowns. Once on the ground, if Brock has top control, he will punish Cain with his hammerfists and it will go either stoppage or he submits him with an anaconda or kimura. Brock has better wrestling, improving jujitsu (carwin fight), and has a helluva power punch.
|
|
Brock will give "Brown (Aztlan) Pride" his walking immigration papers.

Brock is simply too powerful. |

It's Brocktober people!!!!
Brock will take it to the ground where it will finally come to an end. How long this fight last depends on how long velazquez can run away from the takedown. I do feel that Velazquez is the more technical boxer but I don't believe he has that Shane Carwin power. Brock should not underestimate him & let this go to the cards. If your velazquez... Think Franky Edgar... Move in, strike and get your ass out asap. I'm looking forward to this fight |

Brock will clock the Mexican jock. He isnt mexican . He was born in California. |

brock
ETA: i know some people dont like brock for whatever reason, i think his ability as a fighter speaks for itself ... <cough> Champion <cough>, and i suspect, any that dont like him would never tell him, face to face. Like it or not you have to respect the pure physical ability and mental focus –– 2000 years ago this guy would be ripping the limbs off of people in a coliseum. love him / hate him / whatever –– you dont have to respect him until you get into the ring with him, then you WILL respect him |

Quoted:
Lesnar will punch Velasquez. Repeatedly, in the facial region. I don't like either fighter but I want to see Lesnar put the mitts to Velasquez. |
|
I didn't like Lesnar much at first but I'm warming up to him. He's not gonna be my favorite fighter or even my favorite heavyweight, but I'm pulling for him.
That said, I think he's gonna pummel Velasquez. |

Brock got off on the wrong foot with a lot of mma fans because he was playing his WWE "heel" persona. A lot of people wrote him off as an aragant and untalented bastard. I think he has more than proved himself. Considering his limited mma experience, he will only get better as he becomes more well rounded. I think he will be champ for a long time. I was really impressed with his victory over Carwin. |
|
As much as I hate to say it, it's going to take one evil fucker to take Brock out. He's a goddam monster.
|

Yeah, tell that to Joe Rogan and the UFC for hyping this fight by saying this is the first time in UFC history that a Mexican will be fighting for a heavyweight title. And I know he was born in the U.S., does Cain know this? |

I was really impressed with his victory over Carwin. this. He was off a whole year and lost the first four minutes of that fight. Yeah, he was covering up in that round but it would have been a premature stoppage had it had been stopped, he was fine. He turned it around in the last minute of that round, touched gloves with Carwin at the beginning of the second and then preceded to end the fight with an arm triangle choke. Anyone who knows chokes knows that isn't easy. Don't have it in right and your arms are shit for the rest of the fight. Boys got skills. I've got Lesnar in the first by brutal knockout. Velasquez was at a UFC promo in LA and they waved around the mexican flag and tossed around a few "viva la razas." |

I have watched several MMA matches in the last year and have seen the referee stop matches when one fighter was down being beaten and doing nothing but defending himself. Shane had Brock in this position for several seconds and the ref allowed it to continue. Brock couldn't compete with Shane in striking and was hurt badly and in my opinion would have been beaten if Shane had not worn himself out and if the ref had done as many others have done and stopped the fight.
I hated Brock before I got a chance to see the replay of this fight. He's still not my favorite fighter but after the fight he showed class and respect for Shane and I respect him for that. I would like to see Velasquez win but it's a long shot. He's proud of his Mexican heritage and that's ok with me |

Even though Cain was winning at the time. you just never know how it would have gone... |

I hope Brock beats that fuckers face and then waves an American flag in it and reminds where he was born.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I agree that a lot of the stoppages in this situation are premature but that's the way it's done a lot of the time. I'd like to see the fight but I'm not going to pay what they're asking for what may be over in a few seconds. I haven't heard Velasquez make any statements that I would consider racist but there are always some racist comments on GD about him |

Lesnar in the first half of the 2nd round by strikes to Cain's puss.
Can't wait to see that Brown Pride goofball get all fuckered up. Brock's a fellow "gun nut" and that's enough right there for me to root for him no matter who he's fighting. Well, except Randy....... |

The brown pride tattoo doesn't help matters in that regard. Fwiw, a white pride tattoo wouldn't go over very well here neither. Eta: common doesn't equal right, the refs have been catching a lot of flak for bad calls, the more experienced (especially the few that train and fight MMA) have been pretty good lately. Brock is going tear his limbs off and TKO Mr Brown Pride with them.

Velasquez by submission - I'm thinking arm bar or ankle lock...hopefully it's a rear naked choke with Lesnar put to sleep!
