Who has the most reasonably priced two stage AR trigger for sale?
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:23:20 PM EDT
Geisele
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:23:30 PM EDT
Just buy a Geissele and be done with it. No reason to waste money elsewhere.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:24:29 PM EDT
Rock River National Match 2 stage trigger. They wear out after around 5k rounds, but if you send it back to Rock River, they'll send you a new one.

If you're hurting for cash, go with a G2S. I love it in my throw around guns.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:31:58 PM EDT
Geissele G2S was on sale from COPE's for 130 bucks, an incredible bargain.

Used KAC triggers on the EE. Don't get a rock river.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:44:30 PM EDT
I only have one two stage, mbt, gtg. Kinda pricey though.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 7:44:50 PM EDT
Rock River NM2 has an icicle clean break. G2S is a nice trigger too, has a soft break and quick lock time it seems.

Got a SSA-E for my first upgraded trigger and tossed a SSA on a rifle i was trying to build nice but cheap... The SSA-E is about 25% lighter.

"buy once cry once" if you buy a geissele you will cry for every AR you build from here on out...

An AR without a G trigger is like a woman without a vagina.

Well said. I have one SSA and two SSA-E triggers. I wasted a bunch of money on "reasonably priced" triggers and had reliability issues. Go Geissele or stick with stock.

For target guns either a rock river national match 2 stage or Giselle.

Probably this.

But it's not a geissele... and you'll always be wondering what could have been....

My LMT lower came with their? two stage trigger.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 9:08:28 PM EDT
Just dropped by to mention Geissele, I'm not sure anybody's heard of them

I also have an AR gold, it's a good trigger but the first stage is an afterthought. If I had it to do over again I'd pass.

I was trying to figure out what all of the hub-bub was about until I tried a Geissele on a friends AR. I got one the next day. Primo bang switch.

Have to agree with everyone on the Geissele. Not the cheapest, but definitely the BEST.

Close, but not quite. I have one of each, and the SSA definitely feels lighter and smoother.

I have both and agree, but read or heard (from Bill G.) that the G2S sear surfaces are less polished, but after some use should be the same. I am still not sure if the difference I feel will change over time or if it is tolerance differences between lowers, etc.

Geissle is the answer you seek.

I bought a couple of G2S triggers a while back when Aim had them for $110.00. Not at all impressed with them even at that price. I have a couple Rock River 2 stage triggers that cost less and have a crisper break to them. Now, the winner in my pile of junk would be the SSAE. That trigger makes you want to throw rocks at anything else. Trading place Pawn had them on sale with free shipping and the 10 off code got it down to $179.00 delivered to my door. Amazing trigger, spend the little extra and be done with it.

I own 1 geissele trigger and will be putting one in my second build. Not only is his products highly rated among users but the guy I honestly believes cares about the AR community. It obvious he makes his bread and butter that way but with the way he comes through for people in need, families that lost loved ones, people getting screwed over by other companies, sponsoring events, I don't know how you wouldn't want to support him and his business not even counting his great triggers.

Jewell used to make a nice 2 stage... are they still in business?

Geissele SSA and be done with it.

I didn't understand all the love for a Geissele 2 stage until I bought my AAC Pilot ll can. AAC gave me $200 store credit and I bought a Geissele 2 stage with it. Now I want them on all of my ARs.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 10:05:38 PM EDT
Geisele it is, it's on the way. Thanks guys.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 10:06:10 PM EDT
Has anybody suggested a Geissele yet?
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 10:06:26 PM EDT
I own a Geissele SSA and SD-C and they are amazing.

I also have LMT 2-stages in stock LMT rifles and find those are nice too. Maybe find a takeoff LMT trigger in the EE.

What The Fuck does "reasonably priced" mean? Does it compare cost v. quality or just cost?
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 10:10:54 PM EDT
Geissele.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 10:13:03 PM EDT
What is cool about a good trigger, is once you get the feel for what it takes to deliver a spot on shot, you can begin shooting crappy triggers much better too.

I have the Wilson Combat. Love it.
