So I got a big lecture about McDonalds and how I shouldn't eat there because they fund antigun groups. First of all, is this true? Secondly it got me thinking. If not McDonalds, what other big companies are anti-gun? I've always understood that to some degree many big companies shell out money to groups I oppose. But I figured that to avoid spending money where that wasn't the case would be about impossible. Am I wrong here? Do many of you actually boycott certain companies? And which ones?

???? One of the largest purveyors of beef supports PETA? What about all those cattle that gave their life to become a hamburger?

Ben & Jerry's? No shit? Dammit, I really liked their ice cream. And they're from Vermont, too. [:(]

ROFLMA! I just assumed they are meat. I can't remember the last time I had a McDonald's hamburger. (Note: assumption is the mother of all screwups!)

I heard something about Mac getting their meat imported from Australia. Supposedly kangaroo meat. They don't support our cattlemen. Anybody hear about this?

Fillet O' Fish seems fit for human consumption. Appears to be Alaskan Whitefish and Pollock.
