I prefer dark. I find it more tender, and a bit juicier. However, the one that my wife's aunt fixed today, was so tender and juicy throughout, that I could eat either until the point of exploding.

If you deep fry your turkey all of the meat will be moist. Today we deep fried a store bought turkey, a free range turkey, and a duck. Everything turned out perfect.

I had white today and I'm not fond of turkey.
Once a year, no leftovers please, I'm cool with that. Happy Thanksgiving! |

Light cardboard or dark cardboard is all the same to me. I hate turkey, it has to be the most bland tasteless meat on the planet.
