"Wow, Huffington Post just stated that I am number 1 in the polls of Republican candidates,” the real estate mogul tweeted earlier Friday. “Thank you, but the work has just begun!”
Trump was touting his first-place finish in an average of 105 opinion polls tracked by the news outlet: He came in with an average of 13.6% support to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s 13.3%. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-touts-rising-poll-numbers-faces-growing-backlash-article-1.2280676 I think conservatives have had with it with RINO's crawling all over themselves to pander to the Hispanic vote and allowing the country to be overrun by tens of millions of South American socialists. It's quickly turning into the rest of the republican field against Trump, except for Ted Cruz who is supporting Trump. |

Hey, opposing illegal immigration seems to be a winning issue. Will the GOP adopt it? Of course not, it make us look mean and upsets the donors.

Trump is an attention whore for sure, but he also has the balls to say things that no one else will, probably because he just doesn't care. If he stays in the race, he certainly has my attention.
|
|
If he sticks to his word, he is EXACTLY what this country needs.

Trump may not be a perfect candidate, but at least he has the guts to make a stance, even if it creates controversy and stand by that belief. Most of the others are a bunch of pandering schmucks that have zero convictions.

I'm just going to throw this out there: his hair looks like cotton candy made out of piss.

I like the fact that someone has the balls to say what some of the real problems are instead of dancing around the issue. The illegal that killed that women in SF proves his point even more.

Walker must not be included in the poll.
Funny how the MSM has been ignoring him lately. |

Oh, he'd definitely be better than what we have now. We need to drastically restore freedom here. Trump isn't that guy. I'd vote for him if I had to, but I wouldn't like it. |

It's really a shame that he's the only candidate speaking appropriately to the media. Hopefully he can influence the field at least. |

What's his philosophy of government? What does he believe the role of the Federal government is? What is his stance on Federalism? What is his stance on individual rights? What's his plan to avoid or ameliorate the US debt crisis?
Does anyone know? Does anyone care? Illegal immigration is problem but it's just one issue. |

On the flip side perhaps the GOP ought to realize that contrary to what certain polls would want you to think or believe most Americans hate illegal immigration and the numbers are so fucking immense currently it is starting to have massive national implications. |
|
The funny part is that the rest of the GOP hopefuls are sitting on the sidelines waiting for Trump to go away.....And falling further in the polls.
With the first debate on August 6, 2015 if they are not careful The Donald is going to flame their ass and several GD favorites like Perry and perhaps even Cruz will fail to make the cut to qualify for the first debate if you look at their poll standings now. Fox News announced in May that its Cleveland debate, the first of the presidential cycle, will only include candidates "in the top 10 of an average of the five most recent national polls." With the Republican field potentially reaching 16 or more candidates, the rules could mean the exclusion of several candidates. |

Good for him. Government today is made up of those who are left wing bullies, denying the truth and forcing their agenda, and those who are cowards, afraid to speak the truth and are trying to get along and avoid being called bad names. Free speech is only OK for those who agree with the fundamental transformation.
I can ignore a lot of warts on a man who speaks the truth and is not part of the established government dog and pony show. |
|
|
I'd vote for him as the nominee. The way most of the GOP tiptoes through the fucking tulips trying to please everyone but middle America is fucking disgusting.

Do you really think we can vote ourselves smaller government/more freedom? Have the vast majority finally woken up and are ready to clean house in 16? Or is everyone in "Hope" mode that somehow the next President will reduce spending and the size of gov and start fixing shit? All by himself and Congress will happily go along because that's what they all want too? We are doomed. (those of us that want limited government and more freedom-the other side of that?they are happy). |

Trump is a sideshow clown, and has zero chance of getting the nomination.
He's like the warm-up act before the real show gets started, and he is just enjoying the media attention until then. |

Trump did the same thing in 2012. I hope he stays around this time. Screw pandering to certain demographics for cheap votes. Say what you mean and mean what you say. People should vote for a candidates stance on issues for all Americans, not just some talking points that key in on certain demographics. If the country want's to vilify Trump for speaking the truth about the border, then so be it. The circling of the drain will continue.

Almost 35 years of really nothing being done to stop/slow down illegal immigration and people think that will change?20+ million of them here and someone will get elected that wants to send them back? Reagan said as much himself in a televised debate with Democratic presidential nominee Walter Mondale in 1984. "I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally," he said. Even if Trump got in,does anyone think Congress would work with him?The vast majority only care about their carreers and not the country,as has been shown over and over and over........... |
