Gov. Doug Ducey to skip Donald Trump rally in Phoenix; Joe Arpaio not invited

PHOENIX - Two Arizona political staples won't be in attendance at President Donald Trump's rally in Phoenix on Tuesday, as of now.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey will not be attending. Ducey's office told ABC15 the governor would meet President Trump when he arrives at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on Tuesday afternoon but will not appear at the rally.

Daniel Scarpinato, a spokesperson for Gov. Ducey, said the governor would be working with law enforcement during the rally to make sure it is a safe event.

Arpaio told ABC15 he had not been invited to Trump's rally as of Monday at 6 p.m. and said it was up to Trump's campaign whether he would be in attendance.

Air Force One will make its first Arizona stop in Yuma on Tuesday.
Trump will visit a Marine Corps base along the U.S.-Mexico border before flying to Phoenix for his 7 p.m. rally at the Phoenix Convention Center.
The president will spend the night in the Valley before heading to Reno, Nevada, on Wednesday where he will deliver a speech to the American Legion

PROTESTS

Protests, marches and a vigil are planned to take place during Trump's Tuesday visit. Take a look at the following list for each known demonstration:

    A demonstration is expected at the State Capitol at 3:30 p.m. and will be held until 5 p.m.
    Sign making for the protests is expected to occur at Songbird Coffee downtown at noon
    A "No hate in our streets" protest is planned for 5 p.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center
    A "Protest and resist the dictator" demonstration is expected to meet outside the Hyatt downtown at 5:30 p.m.
    More than 3,000 people have RSVP-ed to a Facebook event for a protest that is planned at the Herberger Theater at 6 p.m.
    At 6 p.m., a "Unity Vigil" will be held near 3rd Street and McDowell Road at First Church UCC. The group is expected to march to St. Mary's Basilica Courtyard, where a prayer will be held and then the march will continue to the Arizona State Capitol.

Antifas, Bikers for Trump, and Other Groups Planning to Protest Trump's Phoenix Rally

Trump’s opponents, however, are ready for him. A broad swath of groups have pledged to protest his return trip to the Phoenix Convention Center on Tuesday evening, from Puente to the Democratic Socialists of Phoenix to the First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Searching through social media shows at least 10 events will protest Trump's return to the Valley. U.S. Representative Raúl Grijalva will be at the convention center, and several other elected officials will rally at the Capitol. A couple of groups will come out in support of Trump, too.

Other ad hoc events include protests such as No Hate on Our Streets and PHOENIX RESIST DT45.

There's also the not-very-imaginatively-named event Stand for Patriotism, which is in support of Trump's rally. Similarly, Maricopa County's chapter of Young Republicans is encouraging people to attend the rally with the title, "Trump Takes AZ."

No word yet from the leftist Phoenix John Brown Gun Club, which has come out bearing guns for a past Trump rally.

I worry for/about people like these ladies.

There are going to be very bad, very violent people out and about. People who wouldn't think twice about beating the crap out of women like them.
And being that the antifia fuckmonkeys are too cowardly, they will lurk and wait until pro Trump people are headed back to their cars or alone.

Hopefully there is some organization going on amongst the pro Trump side to ensure some security/safety.

As for me, I wouldn't go near any political protests these days.
