Looks like those are going to be the last pictures from the camera. My guess is that he's going to take that camera.

108 degrees, probably looking for shade! Could be hunting for reefer.
|
|
looks like some type of backpack.
I had some pics like this last spring Turned out to be a county mosquito control guy. He was sampling water looking for skeeters. Just noticed the 108 degrees......why would he be in jeans and wearing gloves??? |
|
He was doing a magic trick. He apparently disappeared after the last pic.

What is around that area and what are the foundation remains?
It's kind of a strange looking backpack....almost like it's carrying something specific. Too small to be a climbing treestand. I would normally just say hunter scouting or just a hiker...but the cable cutters and weird looking pack make me curious. |

Doesn't look like a tweaker.
Might be a scientist or some type of wildlife/plant survey guy. Any universities in the vicinity? |
|
|
I agree it's not a conventional backpack but a carrying case of some kind.
If not a tree stand, maybe survey equipment or something similar? Doesn't look like something you'd use in the bush. |

View Quote I was thinking the same thing. hes out hiking the wilderness hence the pants, gloves, etc.... and the trimmers and pack are for when he find a weed stash. I knew some guys in high school who stumbled on a stash once. Ripped up an entire plant by the roots and put it in a garbage bag and ran off with it lol |

Looks like a little bitch. Beat the answers out of him. And take his pruning shears. |
|
Maybe his drone crashed into some trees and he's going to retrieve it.
ETA: beat, but I'm going with this. |

Those are pruning shears not cable cutters View Quote That's not his 1st Rodeo. Pruning shears are AWESOME to have when tromping through vines and briars. Another hunter turned me onto carrying a pair of those several years ago for sneaking through the real thick nasty stuff. Once you get all wrapped up and tangled up, pull out the shears and start snipping yourself free. Although, those are some big shears. You all must have some real tough vines to get tangled up in. As far as hunting, he doesn't look like the way people look when they go hunting. Backpack is all wrong. Clothes are all wrong. Never seen a tree stand that is carried in a backpack. |

Perhaps he is a "botanist", like the one who visited my backyard. Archived Link on the "Botanist"

That's the prune fairy out hunting for prunes...hence the magic pruning shears.

MSNBC, FOX, etc. |

Those are some baggy jeans. Are those flight gloves he's wearing?

I cant see what it says on the backpack. can any one read it?

OP came through with the pics... not really interested in seeing men though. I give this smash or pass thread a minus 1.

Been many years, but I wore full clothes when doing survey work as a stick man. I assume he is doing something similar.

Looks like he could be carrying an older Orca Video back pack Orca Video Backpack

If I were looking for pot I would probably go near where I thought it was and use a drone to scout for the plants then cut off what I wanted with pruning shears.
|
|
If it's a hunter, he could be planning to cut some shooting lanes for deer season.

Why is the back pack so much thicker in the last photo then it is in the first?

Screw you guys!! That'll be the last time I try to be a "good neighbor" and do any tree/shrub work. FML.
