I purchased this interesting booklet written by a Lawyer on traveling from state to state carrying firearms. It covers 1. Handgun Ownership 2. Rifle and Shotgun Ownership 3. Semi-Automatic "Assault Weapon" Ownership 4. Machine Gun Ownership 5. Firearm Law Uniformity
6. Concealed Carry and 7. Vehicle Carry and Transportation.

It was written by J. Scott Kappas, Esq. It also listed Canada and Mexico.

That post is titled "Part II - Traveler's Guide/Firearms Laws/50 States

An interesting part of this booklet was at the top it rated the position of each state or country the from 0 to 100. It was titled as o = Total Prohibition to 100 = Total Freedom.

It gives a fairly detailed description of each item discussed on the same page.

For those interested I broke down the 0 to 100 by state and country. I think my state abbreviations are correct.
