If micheal bay could resist putting crappy dramatic music in his movies it might be watchable

I hope they get all the military detail 100% correct on this one so someone on ARFCOM head explodes. And cut out all of Optimus Prime's goody goody philosophical babble.

But I will go see it with the kids anyway.

I love historical sci-fi like this.  Clive Cussler's books had a lot of this.  In one book, he had shuttle astronauts picking up moon astronauts that had been on the moon since the early '70's!.  In another, he had the USAF landing on the moon secretly in 1967.

On the other hand, Bay could fuck this up just like he did the second one....

Strangely I am still excited about another Transformers movie. I wonder how they will brind Megatron back this time. Galvatron maybe?

Megatron was damaged but alive at the end of the last film. The "Fallen" was the one who got impaled.

It's been quite a while since I've read it.  I don't recall the theme, but it had the bad guys trying to land the shuttle in Cuba instead of KSC.  Typical "Dirk saves the day at the end" but the astronauts on the moon since the '70's was cool.

ETA: It looks like it's this one:  Cyclops

A friend of mine works for ILM and he's done a lot of work on this movie.

The scene with the robot cutting the building in half is his handiwork.

There was a time when working for ILM was one of my dream jobs! Nice work.

This looks like a solid flick.
