Yep, if you look closely one of the cables is indeed on the roof of the train...

Eh, not really amped up, but if he'd gotten a better shot he could have shown some potential.
Probably just a kid though, I can't fault him. If he had been caught getting any closer, his mother would have told him that he was grounded.

I saw a tree branch get knocked off by the wind and it landed on a power line and it looked something like that, but only briefly.

Kind of sounds like welding.

And I'm really confused, here. Why would you guys run away from that? It's just welding on a massive scale. A few feet back, and you're golden. The camera man was in no real danger.
