I’ve got a Kubota L2501 that I use around my property.  I usually carry a G17 when I’m on it, but I’d like to be able to keep an ar on it.  Can anyone give me suggestions or show me how you mount yours?  I searched, but the posts I found didn’t have pics anymore.  Thanks.

I dont right now, but planning to make one soon. Basically a rack / basket attached between the front end loader supports, with a rifle rack attached to it, the basket for carrying tools or a pistol, and a spot for extra switches for work lights, winch, etc.  Iv got a kubota l3901 which looks exactly like yours does.

Another idea is mount a rifle vertically on one of the lower front end loader supports. Mine has about a foot of room for one on the left side.

One of the arfcommers from tennessee has a kubota with nice rifle rack on it.

Get an old school truck rifle rack and secure it to the ROP with band clamps.

Don’t screw into the ROP, it will void the warranty.

Buy a semiauto M-1919A4

Weld pintle mount to hood (for ground targets) or roll bar (for AA defense).

???

Profit

EDIT:  just noticed you have a FEL.  Buy a conversion kit to allow for solenoid firing of M-1919A4.  Then hard-mount to either bucket or left/right arm of FEL.
Installation of aircraft  gunsights may be required in this configuration.

So, zip ties and duct tape?  Hot wired directly to the battery or through the fuse box?

Where did you get that? It’s brilliant.

I have a Ruger .17 that’s my tractor gun so I don’t have to remember hearing protection when I bring it. But I’ve been thinking of a cmr30 with a 1-8 optic on it lately.

They are ram mounts. Ram suction mount, short arm, and tough clamp.

@griffin86 This looks like something I could use on my Mule sxs. Did some looking and can't find what you have there. Did you start with a pistol mount and modify it, or am I just not finding it?

Personally I use a Keltec SU-16C, folded in a case, behind the tractor seat.  Does the job.

I’d like to do this, but I don’t know if drilling into the loader arms would weaken them...otherwise, I’d like to fab up that mount.

Ive been carrying my 22lr ar pistol on several tractors and atvs lately for groundhog control. I have a soft case for it, and a rubber bungie cord works for a lot of scenarios. On the JD 2020 i stand it upright on the inside of the left fender. ATVs just lay it on the front rack at an angle and strap it down. If I unzip the case down the back and part way down the bottom, I can just reach in and pull the gun out leaving the case strapped down. On the bigger tractors it varies as to what cab they have. JD 6300 i just lean the case up against the cab beside the seat. 4030s I just lay the case on the right side next to the gear shift/throttle controls.

Looking at the pic of your tractor, I would bungee my soft case to the hood or to the arm going up to the front end loader.

I mounted a gun magnet to the window of my cab (would also work on the inside of a fender, or on your ROPS), and stand the AR up with the barrel stuck to the magnet.

I have another ATV mount with a tight foam “V” that is on a short, adjustable arm like the RAM mount someone pictured.

Both work well on my tractors.

Kubota L25xx isn't big enough to mount an AR on. Barely enough room to sit and run the machine.

Now a big field tractor in the West, hell yeah.

Mine is in a zip up case, that way I can easily move it between tractors and the windrower.  They all have cabs.  I'd hate to have one on a tractor without a cab as it is usually pretty dusty out.

If you drill as I did, on the very top of the loader arms, there is no loss of strength.  See pic #2, you can barely see the two 5/16" carriage bolts, one each side.
