I am looking for a tow behind grass/leaf catcher for my mower.
I had an older Craftsman unit that was purchased from the previous owners of the house we bought. It lasted about half a season before the first time the plastic gears in the wheels disintegrated. The second set of gears just ate themselves and I am done putting money into it. Every review for the current models I have seen says they are all constructed of plastic and last about 1 year under good conditions.
What I am looking for is a decent quality model that will not self destruct every year. I recall growing up my dad had an old Parker catcher and that things was built like a tank. Is there anything made today that will have similar quality? What sayeth the hive.
