Had warnings since 3:30 here in the South Boston/ Roxboro area.
Rough going, heavy winds, and rain. Dan River is flowing like cappuccino. |

The Waverly one was less than 10 miles from me. A second one is supposedly on its way, alarms going off everywhere.
What round for tornadoes, again? ETA: Tornado producing storm heading this way at 75mph. Yikes! |

Update: Two tornado vortex signatures spotted on radar. Track is showing rolling almost on top of us, maybe a little to the west. Heading this way at 75mph. Wish me luck.

I had one of the storms pass over earlier, hard winds and heavy rain. Was moving fast so it only lasted a little bit before heading north to richmond. Easy to see how it was producing tornadoes.
It looks like most of it's done but the tornado watch is still on until 9pm. |

The two tracks went zooming by just to the west of us. Still having a bunch of wind. Crap being slung out of the trees into the house. Clouds are hauling northeast. Never seen clouds moving that fast.

Im in Norfolk and the radar picture shows the worst has passed NW of us. Hold on Hampton and Newport News! Then hold on Eastern Shore! What's left is just green on the radar until this front line passes through.
