The rain has stopped and the sun is actually shining up here for the first time in two days. Wind is still blowing a little bit.

Get a good picture of the tornado!

I spent enough time in Oklahoma that tornado sirens are just used for roll call. "Lets go out side and see just how big this bitch really is. Grab me a beer first!"

Ah the good times...

I'm seriously at ground zero for this thing (university park/SMU). Closest one has gotten to my house in 10 years.

Should be here in 5 minutes.

None of the storms are even 30,000 feet?

None of the weather underground tracks have a vortex signature?

North of Dallas now.

The tallest storm in the line is only 19,000 feet???????

No hail predicted????

I don't know where the weather folks are looking but this is weird!

Go with the storm spotters reporting funnel on the ground!

Hook-shaped radar echo, pilots look for embedded funnel or tornado.

The funnel area is in the center of the huge circulation that has been dumping rain on Texas lately.

But almost always tornadoes come from tall, huge clouds and squall lines.

These storms are pikers???

All clear for me. Storm moved north instead of east. Folks up north still have to deal with it though.

Yep, live shot. You must have been on the wrong side of the storm to see your name. It was there.

I took this pic in Seminole OK in May... Massive tornado S.E. of OK City took out Norman, Tecumseh, and Seminole. As I drove into town, EVERYONE was driving out as fast as possible.

Hope everything turns out ok.
