It was posted already, but threads move so fast here I'm sure some people didn't get to see it the first time.

Not one "assault rifle" on the list. The ban must be working.[rolleyes]

Just go to any flea market or antique show and you can buy a ussually stainless steel .38/.357 revolver from a dude who isn't a dealer wihtout a backgroud check or anything. Estate sales too.

You can bet your ass that they will say exactly that!

How much you want to bet assault weapons don't show up in the top 20 either! Well, so much for banning AW's to keep the public safer. Like I said before, it's pretty damn hard to walk around with an AK in your back pocket.

If you notice, the "serious operator's" type of gun like a 1911, HiPower, Glock, or H&K are nowhere to be found. And notice that only one shotgun was listed. Ironically, the Mossberg was probably listed because they're so damn cheap to buy (usually for a reason). It doesn't surprise me that the S&W .38/.357 showed up...there are millions of them. That's about the only gun on that list I'd want to buy!

So when is the ban on wheelguns coming around? Guess I better go out and get that Colt SAA now!. Edited to add: Pround owner of the #1 most evil handgun of all time, the S&W .38! [shock]

Isn't it a crime just to own a Ruger 9mm auto! It hurts my eyes to even look at them.

Be nice, some of us are on a budget [:D]

Smith & Wesson .38, huh? I presume that means .38 Special. Now, Anyone have a revolver in .38 S&W? First cartridge I learned to reload on. memories....

BTW, how dare anyone make guns for the poor. Don't Jennings, Lorcin, et.al. know that selfg defence is only for the privleged and the well-connected? And I like my Mossberg.

Yeah the one that since it is plastic, it can go thru airport metal detectors? I think i heard of that one. Shouldn't it be illegal?

I hope I dont get hualed away by the gun police anytime soon. I own 4 on the list. And one was involved in 8 killings. My Great Grandfather gave me his old .38 S&W. (left it in his will) I have had it for almost 10 years and never shot it. The S&W .357, and 9mm were my dads Duty Pistols when he was a Sheriff. And My Grandfather gave me a Mossberg 12 guage shotgun. He shot 8 Big Bucks with it.
