I took my wife and daughter to the range with me today. After getting my daughter set up on the 50 yard range with her bolt action 22, I asked my wife to come down to the 100 yard range and try my SPR:
 And she quickly showed me what she was made of:  5 shots...100 yards....that's embarassing....for me  I wasn't going to be outdone so I suggested she try shooting a more manly gun  . My Rem 700 chambered for .308: That didn't work either  Another 100 yard 5 shot group.  That's the last time she goes shooting with me  Bomber |

 I know how you feel. I took my oldest son for the first time years ago. I hand him my 1911 and put the target at 7 yds. He aims, shoots....dead center . Then the smartass looks at me and says "This is too easy. Can we put it out farther" |

As your lawyer, I advise that you not even consider divorce. She's too good a shot, and she might hurt you.
BTW, I know how you feel. My wife is deadly with the AR and her 1911.Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas... |

Thanks....that's basically what I was doing. She got a kick out of my post. What I am surprised about was how she handled the .308 recoil. She's not that big and other than the initial "wow" she seemed unphased. In fact she said it was fun to shoot.....go figure......I probably could of gotten away buying the 700 without selling one of my other ARs. Bomber |
