Finally took a few fireworks pics for the first time while at Disneyland last weekend. Don't think they came out too bad for my first attempt.

I'd crop them down a little, to get rid of some of the dead space. |

Not bad for a first attempt. What can you tell us about the exposure settings?
My fireworks are normally done from a tripod and cable release, 4-6 seconds to get the desired shape, f/11 to f/16 depending on the brightness, lowest numbered ISO the camera will do, white balance set to sunny/daylight so that the colors look correct. |

I really like that second shot. I cropped it down some; I hope you don't mind.
Hopefully it didn't screw up the image...hard to tell on a phone. |
