LOL
You guys should try shooting out in a desert dirt area when its almost a hundred degrees.
Try hitting at a target 200 yards with both iron and glass sights. The mirage effect is enough to kill you. I'm looking at a damn regular human sized target and i swear, its dancing away with the heat and wind.

Hey cut us WI boyz some slack!  This IS the "frozen tundra" after all.

That said, I have been out weeding in the garden, and by the time I'm done, I won't have to water, cuz the ground will be sweat soaked!!!

Came in for a cold drink, gotta go back to work now!

Wuss!

It's climbing up and possibly over 110º today here in Phoenix. I'd go shooting in a heart beat! I went to watch a subgun match yesterday, very cool stuff!

Later,
John

It is damn hot out today, 98 degrees in the shade, humid, and about a 1 mph breeze.  And seeing as how we don't have AC, it's over 90 degrees indoors. I worked up a sweat playing pool.[:|]

The NCOIC at the Ft Sill rifle range always thought I was crazy because every single Saturday I'd be there with my M1A, regardless of the weather. 110+ in August? I was there. Pouring down rain? I was there in my poncho. 10 below with a 30mph+ wind? I was there in my fishtail parka. Maybe I am crazy!

Yeah it hot...I just got in from my back yard range. 100 yard with the AR and 25 and 50 yard with my 1022T.

Nothing like squeezing the trigger and feeling that bead of sweat roll right into your eye!

Yep, damn hot today. Went shooting anyway. Place was deserted. I figure I'll be complaining about how cold it is soon enough. Beats sitting at home watching the idiot box.

Who's a pretty princess Mark, who's a pretty princess...?

Seriously, quit being a wuss, just go in the late afternoon when it starts to cool down. Bring your coleman lantern and chemlights and have a night shoot too. Good chance to see how effective your flash supressors, tac lights, & night sights are.
