A few years back VW was pushing their sales towards the gay men thing. Remember the ad where the two guys were riding around and picking up used furniture off the street corners in their VW? That was a big ad campaign pushed towards gay men.
It must have worked, since one of my co-workers that has not realized he is gay yet bought a Passat.
