Tomorrow is the D-Day as in "delivery" date

It is our first and it is 5 days late already and doctor doesn’t want to wait any longer so they are going to induce her tomorrow morning.  I guess the little one likes the current room and board and doesn't want to leave yet.  We don’t know if it’s going to be a girl or a boy (our doctor knows) but we have a sealed envelope with the answer that the sonogram technician gave us a while back.  Fortunately we both decided not to know until it is born.

I surprised that my wife is so calm about the whole thing.  We had dinner and watch a little TV and now we are going to check our bag to make sure we have everything (like my camera).  We are going to go on our nightly one mile walk with our dogs in few minutes and then to bed.

I can’t believe it, after more than three years of trying the little one is almost here.  I think I’m a lot more stressed than my wife

Wish us luck and say a little prayer for us.

Oh yes, wife decided on Nicholas or Gabriela.
I wanted Ivan or Bertha

Its a boy!
Here he is... Nicholas
Everything went as planned and mommy did great... but I was a little frazzled

Here he is about 5 hours after birth

And what is wrong with Bertha?  My grandmother was named Bertha Mae, born in 1900, lived through the great depression, ran a farm in dirt poor SC, and ... oh never mind.  Gabriela is good too.

Just remember that somebody else might see those pictures . . . don't take any that your wife won't want somebody to see later on.

True story . . . never let your father in the room when first grandchild is on the way . . . no discretion about pictures.

Your wife walks a mile every night while that pregnant? Wow

When my sister was that pregnant all she did was lay on a couch, whine, and throw things at males. I felt bad for my brother in law.

We got back from our walk and then she took a shower and went to bed.
Not five minutes later she is out like the light... and I can't sleep.

She's take this all too well.

My mother-in-law got it for my son from BassPro Shop (I think).

He's actually pretty good.

At night...
Wife feeds him, burps him and changes his diaper at about 9:00PM and then she goes to sleep.
I feed him, burp him, bath him and change his diaper at midnight and then I go to sleep.
We both wake up at around 3:00AM and feed him, burp him and change his diaper then we go back to sleep.
We wake up at around 6:30AM and feed him, burp him and change his diaper and then I go back to sleep for about an hour.

At 8:30AM I go to work and wife stays home with the baby.

We get decent amount of sleep but we don't get good quality deep sleep as we always have one ear open.

Great looking boy.  Whats his 1st gun?  You can't leave him unarmed.

I'm thinking about a Ruger 10/22 with shortened stock for his 4th B-Day gift.
I get a spare regular size stock for later when he grows up.

Congrats, very cute kid!!!

Get him this one (Rhineland Arms), just adjust the stock as he grows.

I have one on the way for my two sons.
