Anounced today, DeLay will permanently step down as Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, clearing the way for new leadership elections in January.

Repubs got Daschle, Dems got DeLay.  Score is all tied up 1-1.  Will the Repubs be able to pull together a another score before time runs out in 2006, or will we have to go into the two year overtime period.
