  It isn't like you can really see him in those, so why risk the star? Do close-ups on the ground with a big-ass fan blowing his hair back, stunt double in the air.

As was the case back in March, seeing video of the stunt shows how real and DAMN REAL the stunt was. The only CGI work was to erase the safety straps, but that is Cruise hanging on the plane as it does a max performance take off.
