Non-stop EDM. GF gets annoyed but it tunes out the EEEEEE (and her fussing).

It's like a 24/7 dance party around here

Nothing makes it go away, but I stop noticing it when I'm fairly busy and occupied.  My main focus is on making sure it doesn't get any worse.  I wear earplugs to concerts now.  It helps 10,000%, and I leave the concert feeling and hearing normal.

It's mostly noticeably when there is absolutely no noise from anything else.

Complete silence = noticeable tinnitus.

I have been living with tinnitus for years now. I guess mine is not so bad, but I am use to the CONSTANT ringing in my right ear. Sometime I forget to take my ear plug out of my right ear, that's some hearing loss.

Oh, and I have tried not a damn thing for relief.....just let it ring. Turn up the volume.

Simply accept it.

Play with it by changing your jaw position and seeing what different sounds you can hear.

It's not going away, so accept it, own it, and you learn to stop worrying about it.

If I hear it I know I'm alive. It's the best company I have during the day after may dogs. I don't notice it unless I read a post like this. It's just background noise.

Vinpocetine, available in the U.S. only as a supplement, cures tinnitus quickly in many people. It is a synthetic version of a compound derived from the lesser Periwinkle plant.

Hey OP,

My old man has Tinnitus from someone shooting a revolver right next to his head when he was 19. I recently found a technique and showed him and he says it helps. He drums the back of his head, as shown in the video, for 1 minute. Temporary relief, but relief none the less.
