That's 1 1/2 hrs of my life I'd like to have back.  Had the DVD for awhile & finally watched it.

My review:

Don't bother.

+2, serious ishtar material. It's Stripes without the comedy. It's FMJ without Ermey or Pyle. Spend the time you would have used watching it sorting your loose change. It's just as entertaining and more productive.

I watched it for the second time last week.  I actually liked it. I hated it the first time I saw it.  I guess the difference is that I paid more attention to the characters and their issues and backgrounds and whatnot.

+1.  I watched it and then threw it away ($3 special, wasn't worth taking back).

I've never heard of it, but the differing opinions have seriously piqued my interest.

Tigerland?  Never heard of it.  I guess it's official, hollywood has put out so much crap I no longer bother to keep up with it.

I liked it a lot. It's an excellent flick about a guy who is a born leader and doesnt want to lead.
