If she is married, and not to you, she is off limits.

It is bad to be involved in cheating.

Either as the cheater or as the ... facilitator.

How about my friend's mom?

Or, does "neighbor" include people that live across the street?

most guys are like me and when they catch their wife fucking around they make her pay in court and ruin her life(and her partner in cheatings life) in legal ways

Every once in a while you get that hard-headed SOB that takes up arms and puts a bullet in both cheaters

Roll the dice and take your chances

I thought the saying was that you weren't supposed to covet your neighbor's wife's ass.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.
Nor thy neighbor's ass.
Nor thy neighbor's wife's ass.

That pretty much covers it.

Quoted:
From Luke, Chapter 10:

29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

So, straight out of the horses mouth - if the guy is an asshole to you, he doesn't count as a neighbor.  You can thus ogle his wife all you want.

Some of the finest exegetical work I've ever seen.

That's just fantastic.

Many men don't take well to being cuckolded.

Previous posters are dead-right; people have been murdered for far lesser offenses than being caught with a man's wife.

Don't be a fool.

So the fact that he's been here  a year longer than I and has 60 times more posts than me, validates the morality and stupidity of his post?
So he's got nothing of real substance to say or contibute other than he 's looking at committing adultery, but not before he asks everyone here their opinion of it first. IMO actions of a troll....

Again, please reference the definition of "covet" above.

Adultery is covered under a different commandment.  I am not sure how this thread derailed the way it has.

I have always thought of "covet" as wanting it bad enough to act on that want.

In the sense that David checked out Bathsheba in the rooftop bathtub, coveted her and ultimately commited murder by proxy to have her.  JMO

I didn't tell him that he IS a fool... I exhorted him NOT to be one.

Thought frequently leads to action... I'm trying to derail that thought process before it leads our unfortunate potential paramour to danger

Gotcha - I was just a bit flabbergasted that people seemed to confuse the thought with the action.
