Damned, I must be hiding in a hole again. I didn't even know he was in town.
It was some funny stuff though! I think it's ironic that some flakes were there "protesting" to show the president that they believe in something. Yet they were happy when they found out he wasn't going to show, and thereby not give the protestors the forum they wanted. Seriously, if I showed up to a protest to bitch about something, and the main opposition leader didn't even bother showing up to see me waving my sign... I'd be a little pissed off [:D]. I wouldn't be going around saying "we won!", because all that happened was that I didn't get the chance to voice my opinion. Just goes to show... Sometimes a protest is just another social event for meatheads. |
