I decided to finally pony up for a membership.

I got my state tax return monies this week so I couldn't use the "I'm too broke" excuse any longer.

I feel smarter and more dangerous all at the same time just by reading the threads on this site and I thank all of you.(even the retards

I have some weird ass spiced wheat beer that Budweiser is putting out as a seasonal beer right now.

I'm having one right now to celebrate my membership.

In the next couple of days I'm going to buy some swag from the arfcom store as well.

Yup. I'm a beer snob and usually pretty quick to harshly bash American macro brews but this is definately passable to drink...especially since Oklahoma blue laws prevent me from buying the beers I prefer after 9pm and on Sundays.

I like really thick or really hoppy beers. I like porters(Sierra Nevada, Anchor, etc), IPA(Thunder Head, Bridgeport), Micro brewed stouts(Black Widow Oatmeal stout, Guinness extra stout, Sierra Nevada)...and, OF COURSE the Trappist ales.
