We don't get a drop of rain for 6 months, then one day we get a freaking typhoon, the likes of which would have Noah worried. I can't even see out the window.

Just barely sprinkled and a bunch of lightning here, apparently all this that just sprung up is going to stay just South of me.

Nothing but dark clouds, moderate winds, and sprinkles here in S. TX.....looked like a gully washer, but never produced....dammit.

Are you north of San Antonio? I saw that storm on radar and it sat there for a long time.  It has rained here twice this week, I think the monsoon season is here.

Good for freaking you...we didn't get more than about 12 measly drops of rain.  Fuck, we're dying out here.  Thank god we've got most of the horses sold.  Down to about 12-15 left to sell.  Wife and I are looking at a place 20 mins south of Dallas to lease on Sunday.

It's dry here in college station. I hope my place in Caldwell got some rain. We are losing trees like crazy.

We had 1.5" last night but are still down 17". This drought is serious and we will not recover for some time. La Nina over the Winter/Spring again is predicted.

Didn't last long enough. Blew through here and was done in five minutes like a cheap whore.

What's this rain you speak of?  Some fell the other night, just enough to make some damp spots on the ground but it was over faster than it started.

2 days of mostly lightning storms - but probably not even measurable rain.  I kept wondering, how much electricity is in this storm - how can we harvest and use it...

And here in Ohio, I wish it would let up. I haven't been able to drop the top in my car for like a week. If it ain't raining, it looks like it's going to.

Sometimes, the grass is greener on the other side. Well, I suppose in my case, it really is greener.

Anyway, I hope you guys see an end to this drought soon.
