Post samples.

The Bobcat / Speshul Weppuns stuff doesn't count.

Looks like they are post-samples. That explains it.

Post are always that cheap. $1,200 for a P90, M-16's for about $800, MP5's for about $1K, hell you can build a mini-gun for $35,000 if you are a C2 manufacturer. Sten's for a couple hundred - same with Uzi's and MAC's.

Yeah, but you can't buy post-samples.

At least... not without going through more red tape and the beautiful rings of fire owned by the ATF. If you really want post-samples, you're going to have to committ to a firearms business and have mucho money and patience.

Damn, every time I see a G3, I get all teary-eyed.

Mostly because I'm convinced my CETME is going to fall apart... and I cant afford better

I see that C&R Stens are nearing $8,000.  That’s almost double from the last one they had for sale.  And this one looks much better too.

This or something similar, is the first thing on my list. All original Colt M16A1 CAR.
Here

This rifle will sell for $17-$20K a year from now.
I'll probably never own one, with the way the prices increase.

These people tend to be about 1-5K higher in price than market value.

If you are in the market for a $38,000 MG... you can afford $2,000 more.
