Holy crap!

Got the gun away from baddie no. 1, kills him dead and then pulls a "Wyatt Earp" from Tombstone simply charging the others and emptying his gun while taking bullets.  

He'll live, but he'd have been much better off with a sidearm at the beginning of the confrontation.  Still, what amazing balls.   I hope to never be put in that situation; but if I am, I can only pray I'll have the grit to make a stand for my family.

Guy figured he was dead anyway, and did what he felt he had to do.  Sounds like he's already dealing with  the post-trauma stress very well.

Do they give out medals for this stuff?

These guys will be getting amnesty if the politicians get their way
