You ever figure out how many miles your driving AND THE COST, my LIL" brothers driving 350mi to work a week, 3 X 350 miles equals $1050.00 a week just in GAS!!!!...never mind the vechicle cost and insurance considerations ? > WTF! A POINT TO PONDER IMO.........ETA....my fu...@ 20mpg its around $55 a week an odd 220 a month.
your math fu is week - how many miles per gallon does he get? 1.0?
Are you REALLY that mathematically challenged? 15 mpg, 350 miles = 23.3 gallons * $3 per gallon = $70 per week. Or we can use the new Federal reimbursement rate, which is something like $0.42 per mile. $0.42 * 350 = $147 for TOTAL COST, including depreciation, insurance, et.c.... |
What the heck is he driving? I think a Tank gets better milage than his car.
HAHAHA |
I'm both, even I have better math than that |
I bet I could pick which one of us didn't graduate valedictorian.
That would be a lot of money if it were true. Alas, the private ownership of aircraft carriers is prohibited I believe. GM |
You do that. |
Well your math skills suck, but you did spell MOST of the words right.
A grand a week in gas? He does realize the ignition has an "off" position? Easier just to let 'er idle 24/7 I suppose.
One mile per gallon, huh? They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
Well, Sheriff Drywall from Rider's Radio Theater had an SUV that got .5 MPG.
I swear my Tahoe gets only slightly better than that. |
That would be correct only IF you were spending $3 per mile. Anyone say, "Gas Guzzler Tax"??? Andy |
LOL! I drive a Jet aircraft to work and it is cheaper than that. Check your math.
At no point did you stop and say to yourself "self, these numbers can't be right"? |
A train leaves Boston heading west at 50 miles an hour....
LOL |
..............and 4 hours later, somewhere in Northern NJ, I'm out $200 friggin' dollars to fill up the tank. I've still got a long way to go.......... |
That is so fucking funny I spit my brink all over myself when I saw it. |
Sorry Mags, I don't think you'll live this one down anytime soon.
deleting is too late, its been quoted a few times. He should just post about 25 take the ribbing he deserves and laugh about it with us.
Sure you haven't been drinking and posting, they don't mix well. |
Tag for his inevitable return... I feel for the guy; I've screwed up some basic math before, but never on a public forum.
