Entrance damage on passenger side front door

Where it exited the other side of the door

Piece of metal from inside the door that was blown out of the exit hole and found on the floor of the backseat passenger side. It's hard to see in the picture but this piece was twisted inside out and you can actually see copper marks and the markings from the rifling imprinted on the bullet on the outside of the piece.

The actual bullet could not be located and may have exited the car through the floor.

[b] This thread is useless without more information.{/b]
The metal in pic #3 looks like the jacket of the bullet. May have come apart inside the door.

Is this one of your vehicles?
Where did it happen?

Story? Story? Where be the story? Bullet holes be no good with no story.

Looks like a hunting truck so .270 through both doors maybe?

If people shoot at you at redlights at Bulletfest too I think I'll stay home. [:)]

It might be, but it's so mangled it's hard to tell. Twisted inside out on one side but you can clearly see groves in it. Not copper though, it appears to be steel.

No. It's a friends car.

At a redlight.

I can't really say a lot more than what I already have other than the car is a Honda something or other. Our best guess is that it was a .45 from about 15'.

An even better question is, "Were you shooting back?"

It was a friend getting shot at, not me. I was just surveying the damage and looking for the bullet which couldn't be found. He doesn't know who it was or what for.

Oh this is interesting.

Whereabouts in Texas is this happening?
