Gun Registration compared to vehicle registration? That's a common debate.

O.K. where in the U.S. Constitution does it state anything about guaranteed vehicle rights?
What part of "...shall not be infringed."  Is difficult to understand?  

Do you not realize that it was the individuals with the right to bear arms that gave YOU your freedom to print this slap-in-the-face comic to the common law abiding citizen?  The 2nd Amendment protects all others.  What is your recourse when your freedoms of speech are restricted?  You'd suffer censorship if you tried to complain.  Then what?  Nothing. That's right, NOTHING.


And you DON'T have to register your vehicle - that's a fallacy.

If you keep your vehicle on private property it does not have to be licensed or registered.

If you purchase a vehicle and keep it for use only on your Ranch, for example - no registration required. If you tow it to someone else's property to be used only on that land - no registration needed.

So, with that logic - if I keep my firearm at home - no registration needed. If I transport it to a private range for use - it doesn't need to be registered.

So how can one compare firearm and vehicle registration?
