I have been thinking on many vehicals.  A dodge ram or chevy sounds good.  But I am also leaning toward a crotch rocket.

the only problem is, I dont know how to ride a crotch rocket.

Don't do it!
I knew someone who did, and he was dead a week later!

Forget the bike, especially if you've never ridden before.  I'll spare you the details of my accident, but lets just say you'd rather get a fast car than a death bike.

go buy yourself a nice used ford ranger pick up.

I too had too learn a lesson the hard way on a bike.

Get the new Subaru Impreza WRX STI

it'll set you back a little over 40 grand though. There is just something cool about a 300horsepower 4-cylinder.

That way you can haul guns and ammo, besides it's a lot more fun parking with some honey on a backroad with a truck than a bike.

Are you saying its a bad idea to use the sling on my AR15 and ride to the range?

Good move. I was going to suggest that if you DID get a bike, start out with a $1000 crapper. That way WHEN (not if) you lay it down, you won't cry as hard.

I've had two friends who never rode refuse to heed this advice. Both of them went and bought $7000 worth of Japanese horsepower and promptly laid their bikes down within a week of buying them.

What is your price range. What do you have against Ford?
